This setting will let you choose how often you would like Talkroute to try each 30-second ring attempt to your forwarding phone numbers after the first attempt. You may also adjust how often you would like incoming calls forwarded to your phones. Each ring attempt will be in 30-second increments up to the selected maximum hold time.ĥ. While a caller is on hold, Talkroute will attempt to ring your listed phone numbers. This setting will let you choose how long callers are on hold before getting sent to a Talkroute Voicemail Box, Call Menu, or Disconnecting the call if it is not answered. You may adjust the maximum time you want your callers to wait on hold. If you need to add more than 10 forwarding phone numbers, please use the Ring in Sequence configuration instead.Ĥ. Note: You can add up to 10 forwarding phone numbers in a Ring All configuration. Login to your Talkroute account and navigate to the Manager section.Ģ. Locate the Virtual Phone Number, Call Menu Option, or Extension that you would like to change the ring strategy for and select Edit.ģ. Under " Forwarding Settings", select " Ring all". In the Rotate Calls box, type the number of seconds after which Genesys Cloud calls the next set of 15 randomly selected group members.Ring All is a ring strategy that allows you to ring all of your selected phones at the same time and also specify the maximum hold duration for callers. To set up the Ring All configuration for your virtual phone numbers, call menu options, or extensions, please follow the steps below:ġ.Rotary – When a group receives a call, Genesys Cloud alerts the next person in the list of group members after the person who received the last call.To save the sequence, press Enter and then click Save. The member you designate as 1 receives all calls first. Use the check boxes to designate the sequence of the members. Sequential – When a group receives a call, Genesys Cloud alerts the first person in the list of group members.If no member answers, Genesys Cloud continues to alert members in groups of 15 until someone answers, it has alerted all members, or the call times out. Broadcast – When a group receives a call, Genesys Cloud randomly alerts 15 members simultaneously with a maximum of 1,000 members in rotation. Genesys Cloud routes group voicemails to the Default Voicemail Flow in Architect.Genesys Cloud users who are members of a group and are eligible for group ring alerts can receive alerts while on an active ACD call.Genesys Cloud users who are members of more than one group and are eligible for alerts can receive alerts while on another group ring call for a different group.For more information, see Presence, status, and activity indicators overview. Group members can see missed group calls in their call history. Genesys Cloud only alerts group members who have selected a station. It also does not alert members whose presence is Busy, Break, Meeting, Training, Meal, Out of Office, or offline. Genesys Cloud does not alert group members who have call forwarding enabled.Therefore, to avoid disconnection, users must answer with a verbal response. Genesys Cloud uses call analysis to verify delivery of calls to remote phones. To receive group ring calls, an owner of a group must also be a member.Only official members of the group receive group ring calls. Official members of a group are Genesys Cloud users that an administrator adds to the group. For more information, see DID assignments or Extension assignments. To receive group ring alerts, group members must have a DID number or extension assigned to them.
